The Walk for Memories is the largest annual fundraising event for the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. In addition to the marketing for this event I was also responsible for our online systems and for fostering one of our major strategic partnerships.
I developed all marketing and promotional materials for the Walk including brochures, advertisements and direct mail pieces.
I managed all the advertising buys and a portfolio of vendor relationships including CTV, Pattison, Outfront Media and Captivate Network.
I was the project lead on the implementation of a new P2P fundraising platform (TeamRaiser) and microsite for the event.
I fostered one of our most valuable strategic partnerships with The Printing House (TPH) by proposing and developing a unique activation campaign around their services. This included:
Not only was the Wall covered from top to bottom in memorial cards ordered through their online system but their booth was swarmed with excited children and families throughout the whole event.
